All Gulf Air pilots who are currently on flying duty are eligible to apply for TopCover benefits.
Income Protection
The maximum benefit is US$15,000 per month
The maximum age limit is 60 yrs
Your individual Income Protection benefits are in addition to any benefit provided by the Gulf Air Group TopCover plan.
Personal Accident
This is a cash lump sum payment in the event of death or a permanent injury. The maximum benefit is US$500,000.
The maximum age limit is 65 yrs
Pilots may also purchase cover for their spouse and dependent children.
Critical Illness
This is an immediate cash payment upon diagnosis of any one of the named illnesses. In addition, for pilots, any medical condition that permanently prevents you from flying may also qualify for a benefit payment.
Cover is available in increments of US$10,000 and the maximum cover available is US$150,000.
The maximum age limit is 60 yrs
Cover is available for spouses for the named illnesses.

TopCover has been used by Gulf Air pilots since July 2004, when the airline first provided Group Income Protection benefits.
